red leaves

another shot i took last summer (around end of may)

it's actually the underside of a plant... the top or front face of the leaves are actually green in color,

but the underside is surprisingly in different shades of red.

then the light that goes against it provides a more dramatic effect that highlights the

shades of red making it look like leaves in autumn.

I've been taking pictures of blooming plants lately and it has been very fulfilling since
I get to preserve the beauty and freshness of these natural beauty on my cam.
I may not have that "professional" shot but I'm sure that the pictures that I have taken
would surely tell a story of something I could never have imagined.

A simple bloom captured in the lens of a camera. Preserved beauty and lasting freshness, only nature could provide.
Thanks to technology, preservation of nature's gifts are possible and can be appreciated in a different way, a modern way...

Space thing

this is such a random entry from none other than the author, me!!!!
actually i have nothing worthy to say but, I still want to express myself here. You see, I was uploading the pictures I took last May. Then, I saw this photo of a pillar. It's just one of the pillars of KLIA. I thought it looked nice to have its photo taken, but looking at it now makes me think. Actually, it gives me an idea of some outer space facility rather than just a pillar. It makes my imagination go on to the point that any moment this pillar would move and transform into some machine or whatever techie thing that could be similar to transformers. Just imagine, when you stand in front of it, it would sense your presence then it would start transforming into a transport robot.
So what do you think about this pic?
LOL, I'm just talking randomly here, but that's how I see it. anyway, since this is such a random entry, i think i should end it here. Good night! Ja!

Birthday treat ^___^

May 14, 2010
My 21st birthday was simply celebrated with a movie and meal of local delicacies of Malaysian cuisine.

the menu!!!! hmmmnnn.... can't really choose >.< all of these are so delectable!!!

the birthday girl!!!!! wahahaha!!!

my favorite!!! Roti canai with a mixed dahl and curry dip ^___^ yum yum

the famous kueh tiew goreng!!! thick noodles fried with dark sauce and chicken. quite spicy but definitely thrilling to the taste buds ^__^

and after such a sumptuous meal ^___^ everything went to our tummies.

it was very simple but very memorable...

ruthy's graduation

Where: Philippine Normal University, Taft, Manila

Yesterday was my friend's graduation. And it was really wonderful!
The parting words of the school's president was really moving. And, I must say, they really strive for quality education. Not just producing teachers but educators of truth, excellence and service. That is a true PNU educator!

and it made me think, it's true! definitely, PNU takes education in heart and spirit. ^__^
